One of our clients, a leader within the transport sector, is seeking to recruit a Stock Controller on a full-time basis.
Reviewing stock levels and Stores procedures
Preparing manual and automatic orders (PR’s)
Liaising with Engineering Personnel to establish proper stock levels
Identifying and implementing cost-saving techniques
Proactively working to minimise/lower the total stock holding without negative impact and effectively managing stock levels
Conducting daily stock takes and investigate discrepancies
Follow company’s health and safety policies
2+ years working experience as a Stock Controller or similar role
Minimum 6 ordinary levels with passes in Accounts and Mathematics
Preferably have knowledge on ERM system
Good communication skills in written and verbal English
Must be knowledgeable on vehicle parts and accessories
Meticulous with a keen eye for detail
Organised with problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude
Able to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative.
