Paragon Recruitment is seeking to recruit an Engineering Services Manager on behalf of one of our clients within the Manufacturing Industry.
In this role, reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for:
Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the CEO in strategic decisions and engage in high-level discussions including business development initiatives and financial analysis.
Overseeing the day-to-day operations and ensure the smooth coordination of inter-relationship between departments and the end customer.
Ensure the planning and execution of work procedures, including project schedules, work breakdown structures, resource planning through all the projects phases.
Control and monitor project performance through the team and ensure that all project milestone dates are met.
Manage and closely monitor related outsourcing services, third-party suppliers and employees, ensuring optimum standards are reached and compliance with legal requirements.
Perform ad-hoc inspection on work in progress to ensure installation conforms to specifications and adheres to construction schedules.
Consult with own team to provide technical advice and to resolve issues.
Support the implementation and integration of new initiatives including IT solutions and other initiatives.
Devise operations plans to achieve financial targets.
Ensure that all project data is kept up-to-date and accurate for reporting and auditing purposes.
Report to the Board of Directors on various operations and project reports.
Maximise operations, labour rate income, productive hours and resources and other profit making opportunities.
Devising and monitoring after sales operation KPIs.
Leading and motivating all staff under his/her accountability to achieve common goals and objectives.
Carrying out formal and informal performance reviews of direct reports and take the necessary actions to align staff with business objectives.
Establish the process for training and development of all teams under responsibility and drive timely completions to improve customer satisfaction and profitability.
Prepare and monitor budgets and control project costs.
Introduce standard operating procedures
Ensure that all necessary Health and Safety procedures are implemented in accordance with legislation and adhered to
Any other duties as may be necessary from time to time.

Minimum qualification MQF Level 6 in Engineering and/or Building Services.
Minimum of 5-year experience in a senior management position preferably within the manufacturing industry or within a project management environment.
Familiar with a range of small to large and complex projects and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Engineering or technical background will be considered an asset.
Excellent written and oral proficiency in English and also Maltese.
A valid Maltese driving license.
Strong proficiency with the Internet, Microsoft Office and electronic devices.
